TRUST
Everyday we are tested, can we be trusted? Trust is a precious commodity, its worth is invaluable and its loss is irreplaceable. Once lost it is very difficult, if not impossible to replace. For the benefit of all, we need to trust each other and be trustworthy. If we give our word we must back that up with our actions. When others place their trust in us we must be responsible to live up to their trust. We are all responsible for each other and therefore must be able to trust each other. When there is a lack of trust caused by deceit, lying or misleading, our relationship falls apart. We can no longer be trusted when we take trust for granted. We do not want to have relationships with others who we can not trust.
We do not live in a world by ourselves. People are social beings who must learn to live together. the only way that is possible is if a bond of trust exists between us. When we consistently act in a trusting way, we are then considered trustworthy and accepted and entrusted by others to provide invaluable services to the community.
Able Health Care has an obligation to our community to provide personnel who can be trusted. Our caregivers are entrusted to care for our patients and their families who place their trust in them and Able. When we make commitments to go to work we are being trusted to honor that commitment and to not disappoint those who depend on us by being late or cancelling at the last minute.
When we work in others homes, we are entrusted with their home and the posessions they hold dear. When we take care of patients we are entrusted with their health physically, mentally and spritually. When we complete our assignments we are entrusted to document our visits and the duties we performed honestly and accurately. When we are confided in we are entrusted to keep information confidential.
I would like to thank all our caregivers who have been trustworthy. You have become a tremendous blessing to your patients and their families. Over the years we have received many letters of praise for the important services you have provided. We are all much better off in our society when we are able to trust each other.
